(Long Island, NY) On Saturday, October 3rd, from 6:30pm-9:00 the Cradle of Aviation Museum will host a special night of music and art, with the Celestial S.T.E.A.M. Celebration. The Long Island Composers Alliance will play original musical compositions, set to live planetarium shows.
“Celestial S.T.E.A.M. is a wonderful way for people to listen to beautiful music while viewing the all the universe has to offer in our planetarium.” said Kerri Kiker, the Planetarium Education Coordinator.
In addition to the music, artwork will be on display in the Museums atrium from students who are competing in the Celestial S.T.E.A.M. Competition. The artwork is based upon a quote about our celestial sky.
The Celestial S.T.E.A.M. Competition and Music night is just one of many evening events produced by the Cradle of Aviation Museum. The Cradle is home to over 75 planes and spacecraft and is located on Charles Lindbergh Blvd., in the Garden City/Uniondale area.
