(Hempstead, NY) EAC Network received a very generous donation of brand new backpacks and various school supplies from “Theta Iota Omega Sorority.” The sorority’s donations were given for children in a variety of EAC Network programs. Some of the boys and girls live in foster homes and group homes, while others have families on public assistance or may have a parent who has been incarcerated, or battling substance abuse.

It is imperative that we give our children the necessary tools for success so they can accomplish their goals and reach their full potential,” said Kiona DeWitt, First Vice President of Theta Iota Omega. The supplies will be distributed to families within EAC Network programs on Long Island and the New York metro area.
Theta Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority chartered in 1966 on Long Island, NY continues the legacy of service to all mankind through their dedication and commitment to global and community service.
