(Long Island, NY) The Seventh Squad reports the details of three arrests for Attempted Burglary that occurred on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 4:10 am in Massapequa.
According to detectives, a witness observed Darryl Bogan, 25 of Amityville; Aron Ortiz, 16 of Copiague, and Michael Meredith, 17 of Copiague attempt to gain entry into the T- Mobile Store located at 999 Carmans Road by throwing a rock thru the front window then fleeing on foot. Seventh Precinct officers located the subjects a short distance from the scene and placed them under arrest without incident.

No injuries were reported.
Bogan, Ortiz and Meredith are each being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Possession Burglary Tools. All three defendants will be arraigned on Saturday, 06/27/15 in First District Court, Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
