(Long Island, NY) Two contemporary New York artists, Jason Karolak, a painter and Antoine Lefebvre a new media artist and sculptor are brought together at Suffolk County Community College’s The Maurice N. Flecker Gallery from March 6 to April 3, 2014.

Both artists work approaches space – both geographical and bodily – as a primary concern of their work and as such, of contemporary society. From very different origins and studio practices, these artists have arrived at a convergence of form and philosophy. Well-conceived and executed, the artworks included here are beautiful, compelling, multi-faceted and layered look at the studio practices and points of view of two fascinating artists.
The Maurice N. Flecker Gallery is located in the Southampton Building on the Ammerman Campus of Suffolk County Community College, 533 College Rd., Selden, NY.
