(Long Island, NY) The First Squad reports the arrest of two Roosevelt men for a Robbery which occurred on Thursday, July 02, 2015 at 4:21 P.M. in Roosevelt.
According to detectives, at 2:30 P.M. a male victim, 17, was at the Henry Street Park when he was approached by 3 male Hispanics who knocked the victim to the ground, punched and kicked him. As the victim attempted to flee the males surrounded him and took his hat, bicycle and an undisclosed amount of cash.

After the suspects fled, the victim notified police who located Jose Barahona, 18, at 4:21 P.M and placed him under arrest.
During a canvass of the area Bryan Bonilla, 18, was located at Nassau Road and Whitehouse Avenue and placed under arrest at 5:25 P.M. The third suspect is still at large.
The victim suffered lacerations to his neck and hand during the incident.

Both men are charged with two counts of Robbery 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Friday, July 3, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
