(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Village of Quogue Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people wanted in connection with an identity theft and grand larceny case at a car dealership in Quogue this month.
Two men entered Otis Ford, located at 32 Montauk Highway, on July 18 and entered into a contract to purchase a black 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck for nearly $60,000.
When they left the dealership, the pair was picked up in a silver four-door sedan seen in the picture below.

The next day, the men returned and picked up the truck after they provided a cashier’s check for a portion of the vehicle and financed the rest through Ford Motor Credit Corporation. It was later determined that the cashier’s check was fraudulent. Further investigation revealed the pair stole the identity of a resident of Texas.
