(Deer Park, NY) Crime Stoppers of Suffolk County is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect believed to be responsible for a pharmacy robbery that occurred at the CVS Pharmacy located at 1944 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, New York.
Authorities believe the same suspect committed a robbery at the same location on September 22.

$2,500 of the cash reward is donated by pharmaceutical company Purdue Pharma L.P., which operates RxPATROL®, a collaborative effort between industry, pharmacists and law enforcement to collect, collate, analyze and disseminate information on pharmacy theft. - Robbery Details: The Suffolk County Police Department is investigating a pharmacy robbery that occurred at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 1944 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, New York. Crime Stoppers and law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s assistance offering a reward of up to $5,000, donated in part by Purdue Pharma L.P. for any information that will help solve this crime.
- Date/Time: Sunday, October 6, approximately 8:10 pm
- Location: CVS Pharmacy, 1944 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY
- Description of Events: Suspect entered the pharmacy through the front door, jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded pain medication. The suspect fled out the front door then into a dark colored SUV after being given an undetermined amount of medicine. The vehicle was seen heading southbound on Deer Park Avenue. It is believed the same suspect has committed a robbery at this same location on September 22.
- Suspect Description: Suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20’s, approximately 6’2” with a thin build. He wore aviator sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Volcom Stone” logo on the front, black jeans and black sneakers. Security photos attached.
