(Long Island, NY) The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of two students from Valley Stream South High School on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 8:19 a.m. in Valley Stream for Making a Terroristic Threat.
According to detectives, defendant Bryan A. Esteves, 16 of 9 Pine Lane along with another male juvenile student entered a bathroom on the main floor of Valley Stream High School on Monday, March 17, 2014 and wrote on the wall in blue magic marker a threat to the school. Both students were placed under arrest on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 8:19 a.m. at school without incident.

The defendants are charged with one count of Making a Terroristic Threat and one count of Making Graffiti. Esteves will be arraigned on Friday, March 21, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead. The Juvenile was released on a Desk Appearance Ticket and will appear on April 10, 2014 in First District Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
