(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify the man who stole merchandise at a store in Shirley in August.
On August 31, a man entered Kohl’s department store, located at 999 Montauk Highway, at approximately 1:40 p.m.and stole assorted men’s, women’s and children’s clothes before fleeing the store. Employees followed the man after he left the store without paying for the items.

The suspect is described as a tall black male with a medium build. He was wearing jeans, black Nike sneakers with a white logo, a gray Spiderman t-shirt, and a black hat with a red bill and “BRO” written on the front in white letters.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
