(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who stole a package that was in front of a Huntington apartment in July.
A woman stole items from a package that had been delivered to an apartment on Stewart Avenue on July 24 at approximately 7:20 p.m. The suspect removed numerous items from the package and placed them into her purse. The woman then continued walking southbound on Steward Avenue. The items had a value of approximately $300.

The woman had dark hair that was up in a bun; she wearing a dark-colored shirt that said “Don’t place too much trust in experts,”dark-colored pants and was carrying a white pocketbook.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
