(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a Lindenhurst bank.
A man entered Capital One Bank, located at 300 South Wellwood Ave., at 12:07 p.m. on September 5 and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave the suspect money from the drawer.

The suspect was described as white or Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, dark hair and facial hair.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
