(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to rob a gas station in Lindenhurst.
A man entered Ultra gas station, located at 571 West Montauk Highway, on May 26 at approximately 8:25 p.m., approached a cashier, displayed a gun and demanded money. The employee did not comply and the suspect fled the store without money.

The suspect is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim build. He has brown hair and was unshaven.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
