(Wantagh, NY) Now and then you hear people saying they like a candidate for public office because “he’s a regular guy.” People are always saying they’d like to sit down and have a beer with an elected official so they can see what they’re really like. Well, if you are one of those people, here’s your chance.
The Wantagh Chamber of Commerce will be hosting “Meet the Candidates” on Wednesday, September 25th from 7 to 9 pm at Johnny Malone’s, 1227 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh.
Candidates from all parties, running for office in Nassau County, the Town of Hempstead and representing the local area will be there. Come out for this free event and meet the candidates in an informal, cocktail party format featuring complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. No speeches, no fundraising, no tuxedos – just meet and greet. See you there!
