(Long Island, NY) The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a West Hempstead man on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:27pm in West Hempstead.
According to Detectives, defendant Benny Baez, 34, did illegally dump garbage on a construction site located on Clocks Boulevard in Massapequa on Saturday, March 5, 2016.

Upon arrest the defendant did flail his arms and ran out a side door of his residence to avoid being placed into custody. No injuries were reported.
Defendant Benny Baez is charged with Petit Larceny, Criminal Tampering and Resisting Arrest. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 06, 2016 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
