(Long Island, NY) The Third Squad reports the details of an arrest for two Burglaries that occurred on April 1, 2014 and April 2, 2014 in Westbury.
According to detectives, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 the manager of Chi restaurant, 103 Post Avenue was closing the for the night when he heard a noise from the ladies bathroom. The victim entered the bathroom and saw a male subject climbing into the window. The victim tried to grab the subject, but the subject was able to pull away and flee the scene on foot. On April 2, 2014 at 1:00 AM the manager was notified that the same subject had broken into the restaurant and took several bottles of alcohol which was recorded on video surveillance. On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 the subject was seen walking near the restaurant. Police arrived to the scene and placed Frank Alfisi, 46, of 889 Plumtree Road, Westbury under arrest without incident.

The defendant is being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on April 10, 2014 at First District Court, Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
