(Long Island, NY) Westy Self Storage supports the Nassau Region of Hadassah’s Fruit Sale which will be held on Sunday, November 23. All proceeds benefit the Young Judaea Scholarship Fund. Westy Self Storage in Lake Success is proud to extend their location as a distribution point for the fruit sale for the 5th year.
Early morning on the November 23, cases of fruit will arrive at the Westy location. From there, local volunteers will sort and distribute the cases of fruit for the sale. This fundraiser benefits scholarships for Young Judaea summer camp as well as programs in Israel. These funds will assist underprivileged students in the local communities. The Nassau Region of Hadassah strives to implement the mission statement of the National Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of American, by encouraging its members to strengthen their partnership with Israel, ensure Jewish continuity and realize their potential as a dynamic force in Nassau County. Founded by Hadassah, Young Judaea is a peer led, religiously pluralist Zionist Youth movement. Its mission is to build and strengthen Jewish identity and connection to Israel and to bring its members closer to Israel ideologically, spiritually and physically.

Westy has been kind enough to support our efforts for the past several years,” said Marilyn Morgenlander, Chairperson of Young Judaea Fruit Sale. “Without the help of such caring organizations, our fundraising efforts would not be nearly as successful.”
