(Long Island, NY) Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Thursday, 02/11/16 at 4:15 P.M.
According to detectives, a male subject, armed with a handgun, approached a female victim, 60, while in Macy’s parking lot, south exit at Green Acres Mall, and demanded she remove her rings and hand them over.

The victim complied and the subject fled on foot through the parking lot in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.
The subject is described as a male black, tall, thin build, and light complexion. No further description is available.
