(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Third Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who attempted to steal another woman’s wallet from a West Islip store earlier this month.
A woman entered Best Yet, located at 9 Udall Road, at 8:50 a.m. on September 16, 2015 and removed a pink wallet from another woman’s purse. The victim recovered her wallet from the suspect and the suspect fled.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
