(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the arrest of a Woodbury man for Reckless Endangerment that occurred on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 7:20 pm in Woodbury.
According to detectives, defendant Rocco Colucci, 59, fired several rounds from an AR 15 rifle through an open back door while standing inside his residence. The fired rounds struck an occupied residence located on Caumsett Wood Lane. There were no reported injuries.

Defendant Colucci was placed under arrest at his home without further incident. The semi-automatic rifle, two (2) magazines and numerous shell casing were recovered at scene.
Defendant Colucci is being charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st Degree. He will be arraigned on Friday, November 27, 2015 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
