(Long Island, NY) In recognition of the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, the American Airpower Museum, located at 1230 New Highway Farmingdale NY, will honor WWII POWs with the rededication of its renovated POW exhibit, the only permanent exhibit of its kind in the Tri State area.
The event takes place 4 days after the 70th anniversary of VJ Day, the official date of the end of WWII. The exhibit and the event acknowledge the hardships that our soldiers endured while captives of the enemy.
