(Long Island, NY) A glitterati of socialites from the worlds of art, beauty, fashion, and media attended the highly successful first ever hallmark event on November 29, 2007 for The Quest for “it”s first feature story release party hosted by the bubbly, enthusiastically vivacious willowy brunette Fashion Designer Esther Nash.
The celebrity lifestyle blog The Quest for “it” introduced the return of its exclusive feature stories. The Quest for “it” promises to entertain its readers with innovative exciting information on art, fashion, media and beyond from some of the most glamorous cities in the world such as New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and London. Once a month a Feature Story will be released on The Quest for “it” blog and celebrated with a release party. The Quest for “it”s upcoming Feature Stories will embody that certain someone who has realized his or her success on their own terms while encompassing the many worlds The Quest for “it”.
After many months of searching, The Quest for “it” has found not only its current Feature Story subject, but also its first cover girl in Esther Nash. New York based Designer and Socialite Esther Nash is the epitome of a chick on the quest. The fashion world’s former child prodigy is all grown up, and is currently shooting segments in a new design competition show for MTV this very month. At the age of 18 Esther owned her first retail store, by age 19 a second, and by age 21 was regularly having her own runway shows, thereby reaching the rank of a young professional designer. Ms. Nash’s glam rock star fashions have been featured on the long running hit HBO series Sex in the City. Esther has produced dozens of fabulous fashion shows her last show paparazzi was stunned by a surprised appearance of her highness Vogue Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour.
During my interview with Esther she updated me on projects she is currently working on. MTV’s new reality show behemoth was casting and Esther fit the part like a silk glove. Sew Good, MTV’s new “design competition” show just wrapped in November.
It will be some time before production airs and then a final decision will be made as to whether it will be a recurring program. If programming is established Ms. Esther Nash will be an international star globally changing the fast pace fashion industry.
Is everyone watching? Esther Nash has RESURFACED. Well darlings she never went away. She has been here working diligently on her career and her fashions. Ms. Nash is innovative in her designs always looking for a slight little twist that other designers just seem to miss even when it comes to the slightest detail. Her fashions and jewelry designs are fresh, young and hip! They make you feel like a glamour girl!!!

I also had a chance to interview the creator of this fashionably fabulous blog, Ms. Tia Walker for my TV Show Cognac’s Corner.
Cognac: Tell my audience how you came up with the concept and the name?
Tia Walker: Basically I was going to Fashion Week here in New York and I wasn’t going to quite everything that I thought I should be going to. I wanted to go to more shows officially so I started it as a quest. Now everything about my blog and my quest has changed a lot. It used to be about my quest to get to the A-list and to get to the wonderful parties and the lifestyle that everybody wants. I pretty much have everything I want so now the Quest for “It” has changed. It’s whatever you want it to be. It could be a quest to lose weight, It could be a quest to make more money or it can be a quest to find yourself. I think it’s a lot more than getting to the A-list. It’s whatever you want it to be.
After nearly four years as CEO & Founder of Sfumato Artist Management, a DJ Booking Company that formed in 2001, Tia Walker decided to embark on her latest project The Quest for “It” — a blog that offers select chronicles of an upscale chic urban lifestyle. The Quest for “it” provides an exciting look at her ascent to the A-List. Through this entertainment fashion blog she gives hard and fast information as well as analysis of the arts, designers, various publications and nightlife. Savvy insights, real life disappointments, real life successes and celebrity encounters are shared through a unique perspective.
Over the past few years, Ms. Walker has booked DJs for several large scale events: the Ignite Party for emerging artists–organization Gen Art, private cocktail party for famed celebrity event photographer Patrick McMullan, product launch of Burberry’s latest fragrance Brit, promotional party for British designer Keanan Duffty, private birthday party for the publisher of WIRED magazine and the launch party hosted by Kim Porter for “Intimate” by photographer Marc Baptiste.
Prior to the formation of Sfumato, Ms. Walker enjoyed short stints as an art gallery assistant, hostess at one of New York’s most acclaimed 3 star restaurants, stand in for feature player on television, promoted at several nightclubs, and served as a contributing writer of a restaurant review. In addition, she was involved for several years with a popular New York based children’s charity serving on planning committees for its annual gala, coordinating with Madison Avenue boutiques for its holiday drive and assisting to bring new members into the fold.
Previously Ms. Walker worked as a consultant in the corporate world of New York City before succumbing to the call of the exciting and glamorous nightlife …she has never looked back.
