(Long Island, NY) My guest and I enjoyed our balance of Ying and Yang at Madame Tong’s restaurant drinking exotic cocktails and dining on the Asian influence cuisine. Situated just around the corner from the train station in Southampton it is the perfect trendy spot to enjoy a night out on the town for fun and delicious dining. Deep sensuous warm red walls and Oriental décor seem to engulf the main dining room and the ornate wooden window dividers to the cute parasols cleverly disguise unmentionable that turn the restaurant into a hot steamy sensuous night club. Across the splendor of the main expansive dining room and lounge area, the patio invites you onto the back lawn and guest can dine alfresco. Sitting two tables down Shock Jock and Sushi Lover Howard Stern was enjoying his Sushi while his dinner companion Ross from Cirrus Satellite talked serious business.
My camera crew, publicist and Stylist Count Vlad of Vladicouture and I enjoyed Pork & Chive Dumplings with Soy Scallion Dipping Sauce and Shrimp Shumai, absolutely delicious. We were there to enjoy a hot Hamptons night and to interview exotic Columbian Fashion Designer LuBerry about her tropical swimwear line and film her fabulous fashion show.
I also had the opportunity to interview the owner Jean Luc who also owns three other restaurants JL on Columbus Avenue in Manhattan, JL East in East Hampton and JXL in Sag Harbor. “How did you meet LuBerry,” I inquired. “LuBerry gravitated to the hottest restaurant/nightclub and where the fashionistas go the people follow Madame tong’s and they follow LuBerry swimwear, when the cream of the crop rises they all meet together in one zoo of the fabulous,” he revealed.
Jean Luc went on to explain “We designed this restaurant for play and serious dining but when 11:30 hits this becomes the Hamptons with movie stars and celebrities like Barbara Walters and Howard Stern. Madame Tong’s protects the celebrities, high profile people, the hedge fund kings they don’t want to be bothered so we discreetly put the best servers at their tables and we make sure when the customer rolls over for an autograph we ask them to leave – it is important to protect the integrity of everyone’s dining experience.” After the interview Jean Luc announced to the audience “LuBerry is the number one swim wear in the country and LuBerry wants to thank everyone for coming.”
During our interview beautiful, tan, exotic Columbian born LuBerry dressed in a white halter dress offsetting her glorious tan described her unique line of sexy swim wear as retro 1960’s, soft sensuous and very glamorous. She uses bold colors and intricate detailing to highlight her collection. LuBerry only uses the best and softest fabrics when she designs her swim wear line ensuring that the bathing garment moves with the customer’s body with ease. She also designs a trendy line of wonderful handbags.

The fashion show was spectacular as the models showcased the swim wear across the runway. Fashion shows always add a different dynamic to the night life in the Hamptons and one beautiful platinum blonde model, Vanessa, created a sexy frenzy as she danced provocatively shaking her hips and gorgeous tan booty stirring up an excited hot and bothered young handsome stud as he jumped on the runway, ripped off his shirt and started dancing with her. Security of course wisked him away immediately. Fashion Show was photographed by Emil Dawkins for her website.
