Nassau Bar Association Mad Hatter’s “Dressed to a Tea” Party, March 20 2014; Lawyers Raise Funds to Help Residents in Need
(MINEOLA, NY) Lawyers and court employees will be walking the runway presenting the highly anticipated first look at the 2014 spring fashions, provided by Lord & Taylor, Garden City, to help raise funds for local charities at “Dressed to a Tea,” Nassau County Bar Association’s annual fashion show on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the NCBA headquarters, on the corner of 15th and West Streets, Mineola. This festive evening’s theme of a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party includes a light supper and fabulous raffle prizes.

Lord &Taylor’s personal stylist, Dana Amoroso, and the fashion team led by Lord & Taylor Director Joseph Ricaurte and Karen Loeffler, work closely with each of the 12 “models” to create the looks showcased. Professional makeup and hair services for the models are provided by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Carolyn DelCielo for Salon Blue. Lord & Taylor discount coupons for their April 2, 2014 Charity Sale will be provided to all attendees.

Financial grants to local charities are made through the NCBA’s WE CARE Fund. Proceeds from ”Dressed to a Tea” will benefit the Interfaith Nutrition Network, Momma’s House, Education & Assistance Corporation, The Eastern Farm Workers, Bethany House and Long Island Volunteer Center Prom Boutique, a non-profit that also accepts donations of prom dresses, tuxedos and accessories.
