LONG ISLAND, NY – The Fair Media Council seeks news, media, social media and communications speakers for its annual Connection Day conference on Oct. 23, 2015 in Bethpage, N.Y.
FMC Connection Day is the largest conference in the country to bring media and community together for a day of open dialogue, relationship building, story pitching and mutual understanding,” said FMC CEO & Executive Director Jaci Clement. “Our speakers perform a tremendous public service by participating in FMC events, such as Connection Day.”

To be considered to be a panelist or solo presenter at Connection Day, please note the following:
- Members of the media: We seek assignment editors, reporters, editors, news directors, anchors from news outlets everywhere. If you are interested in participating, please send a brief email by Aug. 10 to info@fairmediacouncil.org that gives highlights of your background.
- Social media experts: To be considered, please send a brief background about yourself, along with speaking experience, to info@fairmediacouncil.org by Aug. 10. We seek a variety of experts as speakers — everything from Twitter best practices to content and convergence — and everything in between.
- Communications professionals: We seek the best media relations practitioners, spokespeople, crisis management experts and more. Speakers must be director level and above, and have demonstrated speaking experience. Ideas for panel discussions are welcome. Please send a brief email to info@fairmediacouncil.org by Aug. 10.
