(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a woman in Eastport on Sunday, December 6.
Rudi Ramirez was driving a 1990 Toyota Camry southbound on County Road 51 when a northbound 2015 Hyundai Tucson, driven by Madeline Keane, made a left turn in front of Ramirez’s vehicle at County Road 111 at 2:47 p.m.

Ramirez’s passenger, Blanca Coslaya, 41, of Flanders, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Ramirez, 22, of Flanders, was also transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Keane, 51, of Farmingville, and her two passengers were transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were impounded for a safety inspection and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crash to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
