(Long Island, NY) The Suffolk County Police Department have arrested 11 people and recovered numerous weapons, drugs and vehicles during a gathering hosted by the Pagan Motorcycle Club in Lindenhurst yesterday.

Suffolk County Police seized 5 handguns, 1 rifle, 1 shotgun, marijuana, cocaine, crystal meth, a billy club and three vehicles. The 11 men were arrested in the vicinity of the gathering at Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst between the hours of 7:40 p.m. on October 17, to 1:40 a.m.today.

• Michael John Parsnip, 42, of North Carolina, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 4^thDegree, three counts of Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 7^th Degree for possessing crystal meth, cocaine, and morphine.

All will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 18.

After further investigation regarding the gathering of the Pagan Motorcycle Club in Lindenhurst on October 17, Suffolk County Police Department First Squad detectives recovered four additional loaded handguns. Michael Parsnip, 42, and Jason Craft, 39, both of North Carolina, were additionally charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd Degree. They are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on October 19.

(Long Island, NY) The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Roosevelt on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 7:20 am.

According to detectives, a 24 year old male was walking west on Lakewood Avenue in the vicinity of Rose Avenue when he was approached by two male blacks that demanded his cash.

Subject one displayed a knife and punched the victim in his face before taking his red wallet that contained an undetermined amount of US currency and credit cards. The two male subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim suffered a swollen face and refused medical attention.

• Subject one is described as being male, black, 6’2” tall, stocky build, dark hooded sweatshirt.
• Subject two is described as being male, black, 5’10” tall, stocky build, dark hooded sweatshirt.

(Long Island, NY) The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in New Cassel on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 1:00 am in New Cassel.

According to detectives, a 22 year old male victim was getting into his 2011 Chevrolet Camaro parked on 4th Avenue when he was approached by three unknown male Hispanics ( no further description ) that demanded he hand over personal belongings out of his pockets.

After the victim refused he drove away at which time he noticed stab wounds from an unknown sharp object to his lower right abdomen, right shoulder, and upper right buttocks. The victim then later called 911. The victim was transported in a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a local area hospital and was treated for non- life threatening injuries.

(Long Island, NY) The First Squad reports the arrest of a South Hempstead man on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 1:10 a.m. for Robbery.

According to detectives, on August 19, 2015 at 2:50 p.m. Romell Richardson, 20, met a former girlfriend on the corner of Irene Street and Webber Avenue to exchange custody of their 18 month old child. An argument ensued and Richardson pulled out a small black hand gun and removed the victim’s wallet and cellphone from her hand before fleeing the scene. The victim left with her child and notified police. There were no injuries.

On October 17, 2015 at 1:10 a.m. First Squad detectives located Richardson in the rear of 1933 Grand Avenue, Baldwin and placed him under arrest. During the investigation it was determined that he violated an order of protection during the encounter.

Richardson is charged with Robbery 1st degree, Criminal Contempt 1st degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police have arrested a man who robbed a store in Sayville on Friday, October 16.

Scott Tangel, 44, entered Ralph’s Italian Ices, located at 153 Main St., displayed a knife and demanded cash from the store employee. The employee complied and Tangel fled the store on foot.

A short time later, Fifth Squad detectives located Tangel at the Long Island Railroad Station in Sayville and arrested him after he was identified by a witness. Tangel, of Sayville, was charged with Robbery 1st Degree.

Tangel is being held at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 17.

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a man in a wheelchair in West Babylon on Friday, October 16.

Michael Dora, 40, of West Babylon, was in the right lane on southbound Great East Neck Road when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Dora was transported via ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.

The vehicle involved is believed to be dark in color, possibly a Nissan, with front-end damage.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who has information or may have witnessed the crash to contact the Vehicular Crime Unit at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police have arrested a man who attempted to rob a liquor store and then robbed a gas station convenience store five minutes later in Patchogue on Friday, October 16.

Michael Ward, 48, entered the Main Street Wines and Liquors, located at 333 Main St., and with his hand hidden in his sweatshirt pocket, demanded money from the employee. The employee picked up a baseball bat and chased Ward out of the store at approximately 8:15 p.m. No proceeds were taken.

Ward, of Selden, then entered the Hess Gas Station, located at 113 Route 112, and with his hand under his shirt, demanded cash from the employee, who complied and gave Ward cash from the register at approximately 8:20 p.m. Ward fled in a white SUV.

A short time later, Fifth Precinct patrol officers located Ward and the vehicle and he was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery 3rd Degree and Robbery 3rd Degree.

Ward is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 17.

(Long Island, NY) The Homicide Squad is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. in Hempstead.

According to detectives, Hempstead Police responded to a home on Dartmouth Street for an aided case. Upon their arrival they discovered a 12 year old female had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

A single gunshot was fired from the street and struck the child while she was in her living room. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The 12 year old victim, identified as Dejah Joyner, was pronounced deceased on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 7:00 pm by Dr. Noyola at Winthrop Hospital in Mineola.

(Long Island, NY) The Second Squad reports the details of a serious vehicular accident which occurred on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 8:20 A.M. in Hicksville.

According to detectives, a male victim, 79 years of age, walking north to south on Cherry Lane East was struck by a 2014 Jeep, driven by a female, 49 years of age, travelling westbound on Cherry Lane East approaching Newbridge Road.

The victim suffered numerous injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition. A brake and safety check was performed on the vehicle at scene.

No criminality is suspected at this time.

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a man found in Manorville on October 15.

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives arrested Bryan Rosales Mejia for the murder of German Guzman. Guzman, 36, of Amityville was found within the Otis Pike Preserve on October 15 at approximately 1:45 p.m.

On October 15, a passing motorist traveling on Wading River-Manor Road in Manorville noticed a fire on the side of the road and discovered it was a burning body, later identified as Guzman. Riverhead Town Police notified Suffolk Police after the passerby called 911 at approximately 1:45 p.m.

RosalesMejia, 21, of Amityville, was charged with Murder 2nd Degree. He was arraigned this morning at First District Court in Central Islip.

The investigation is continuing.
